Support

Help for Don't Speed.

During beta, TestFlight feedback is the fastest path. Before the public App Store launch, a support inbox at support@dontspeed.app should be turned on or forwarded so App Store users have a public contact path.

How to reach support

  • Beta builds: Send feedback from the TestFlight app so device, build, and screenshot context can be attached.
  • Public launch inbox: Configure support@dontspeed.app before App Store release, then use this page as the Support URL.
  • Response window: During beta and early launch, replies may take 3 to 5 business days.

Before you report a problem

  • Confirm whether the drive was active with the Start Drive control.
  • Use Alert Preview in Settings to check sound without driving, starting GPS, or saving a log entry.
  • If you are a tester, use the Usage tab's Copy QA Summary action and paste it into your report.
  • If live speed limits were enabled, note whether the issue happened while stopped, moving, or after the screen locked.

Common questions

Why does the app ask for Always Location?

Only active drives use background updates. Always Location lets Don't Speed keep monitoring if your screen locks during a drive.

Does the app work without live speed-limit data?

You can still preview alerts and test GPS behavior, but Don't Speed will not warn against a made-up default limit.

Where are logs stored?

Overspeed logs stay on your iPhone and can be retained for 7 days, 30 days, or until manually deleted.
